Quesada’s Guacamole

Make: Approx. 2 cups

Prep Time: 15 minutes

You can make perfectly OK guacamole with just avocados, lime and salt. Or you can make next-level, super delicious guacamole with just a few more key ingredients!

The best guacamole always uses fresh, ripe avocados–just like we do at Quesada!

4 large ripe avocados

2 Tbsp finely diced onion

2 Tbsp minced cilantro

1-2 Tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tsp minced garlic

¼  tsp black pepper

½  tsp white pepper

¾  tsp salt

Cut avocados in half, remove pit and with a large spoon scoop out avocado pulp into a medium bowl. Mash the avocado with a potato masher (a fork works too), leaving some larger chunks of avocado.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Place into a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Note: If you’re making guacamole ahead of time (1 hour or up to 6 hours ahead), place the guacamole in a serving bowl then place plastic wrap directly on top of the guacamole and seal tightly–the plastic wrap should be touching the guacamole. This method will reduce the chances of it oxidizing and turning brown. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
