About us

The story of Quesada started when founder Steve Gill began exploring the bold flavours of Mexico. A flavour enthusiast, Steve’s home cooked recipes launched the first Quesada restaurant in Toronto in 2004. The demand for Quesada’s fresh, bold, customizable food was insatiable and customers regularly lined up for the Quesada experience and its mouthwatering homemade guacamole and salsas. Fast forward to 2022, Quesada has opened more than 170 stores coast to coast with over two dozen stores set to open in the 2022/2023 year, and has partnered with the David Suzuki Foundation, Second Harvest and Canada Soccer. In 2020 Quesada was recognized by the Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s top 400 growing companies. Quesada is set to continue its explosive growth across Canada.

Quesada is a member of the Canadian Franchise Association, the Conseil Quebecois de la franchise and the Canadian College and University Food Service Association (CCUFSA).
